ADHD and Holding It

Gee, haven’t posted for a little bit there, I guess I was just waiting to have something important to talk about.

Going to the bathroom. That’s important. I’m 39 years old and I still don’t like to have to stop what I’m doing, to go to the bathroom.  Sad to say, meds, don’t alleviate this issue because they just make me more focused on what’s in front of me, so I’m like “gee, I’m really happy and content working on this here project, why would I want to stop and go to the bathroom, how annoying”.

The good news is that after a lifetime of “holding it” I have exceptional “holding it” ability – which is handy on long car rides. On the other hand, I’m sure my body would be happier if I just visited the crapper slightly more often, when I’m not in a car, which is most of the time.

Guess I’ve got my 2016 New Year’s Resolution all lined up: Visit the crapper more often.
